At Pathways of Pennsylvania, we believe every individual has a right to lead a meaningful and positive life — including the youngest members of the community. Children’s Behavioral Health, Inc., a division of Pathways, is a home, school, community, and site based service provider offering Behavioral Health and Rehabilitative Services and Children’s Partial Hospitalization Services to children and adolescents in central and western Pennsylvania. Our child centered and family focused services are provided in the least restrictive manner, to assist children and adolescents with special needs in reaching their unique goals. We do this by employing an amazing team of qualified, professional and friendly individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others. Our support staff is focused on the best treatment and clinical outcomes for our patients, using a collaborative approach. We work closely with schools, primary care physicians and other medical professionals, and any other agencies involved with the children in our care.

• Case Management: Serves the families that we work with and is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, care coordination, and evaluation to meet an individual’s and family’s comprehensive health needs. We do this by communicating available resources to promote quality outcomes.

• Therapeutic Staff Support: Works directly with children under the supervision of a Master’s level therapist. These professionals focus on the child’s ability to build skills related to increasing social engagement, independent living, and positive interactions with others. We achieve this by providing intensive 1:1 behavioral interventions.

• Behavior Specialist Consultant: Works directly with parents, teachers, and other team members to use Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral interventions in teaching children the skills needed to be successful and to reach their individual goals. We achieve this by providing the initial and on-going support and consultation needed throughout treatment.

• Mobile Therapist: Works with children and families to provide individual or family counseling as needed. The Mobile Therapist assists in promoting the independence of the family by addressing mental health needs and/or managing behavioral excesses. We do this by coordinating care with all team members.
